First meal in Laos. I had a long, rough day, with two near disasters, so decided to treat myself to a good dinner. Besides what's shown here, I had a plate of seafood fried rice plus another bottle of Beerlao. Everything was excellent, and the final bill was $7.88.

Incredibly, Beerlao had a 99% marketshare in Laos until very recently.
