The two figures at the lower left are toddlers. They're just hanging out. Older kids are routinely out in the fields working with the adults. It's the Hmong way. If there was school, though, Hmong kids would also be in classes, but because of the coronavirus scare, all Vietnamese schools have been closed for weeks now.
