With Slave, Darko, Darko's parents and Aleksandar in Prostranje, in front of Darko's maternal grandma's house. Fifty years ago, Prostranje had over a thousand people. By 2002, it was down to 31. Now, there are only ten residents. Although Darko and his parents live in Skopje, they come down here every so often to fix up this 100-year-old house. They had a 300-year-old house that has collapsed completely, leaving only the foundation.
