This is Laurie, at Scranton's Courthouse square. She asked me for a couple dollars so that she could take a bus to her apartment, Jessup, Pa. I gave Laurie $2.00. She called her landlord a "slumlord" who raised her rent from $400 a month to $625. Laurie told me "My electrity is shut off and I can't afford it." No job, and she's looking for another place to live. Laurie said, "See me here next Friday handsome, and I will pay back the $2.00."
