Nobel laureate Mo Yan was supposed to be here, but India wouldn't give him a visa! Last night at Daddy, a man asked me if I was Mo Yan. I wouldn't mind a million bucks, I told him.

Mo Yan, didn't know who he was but I just noticed that the film "Red Sorghum" is based on his novel .. great film
I have no idea if he said or wrote something to cause this. Another writer, an Australian, was also denied a visa, and there's nothing controversial about him.--Linh
