Good luck on the ride to Phnom Penh. I did this ride 20 years ago and it was littered with potholes. Sitting at the back of the van, my head would graze the roof of the van after every pothole. I hope the road has been paved since....

I took that route, going the other way, three months ago. The highway was fine, a very smooth ride.
