Chams, who are Muslim. Their kingdom was swallowed up by Vietnam. For centuries, they also warred against Khmers. At Angkor Wat, there are depictions of battles between Chams and Khmers.
During the Vietnam War, Champa's most important archeological site, Mỹ Sơn, was used by the Viet Cong to stage attacks, so was bombed by Uncle Sam. Its most important temple was completely destroyed, and several more heavily damaged.

There's a number of Cham Hindus around Vietnam and Cambodia too which has always fascinated me. I'd read long ago that many of the Southeast Asian Hindus were visibly identifiable by the fact that they looked like Indian mixed. Crazy how genes can leave multi generational changes like that.
