In Switzerland,a carry permit used to cost 5 Francs,about 3 Dollars at the time,until around 1990.There were no shootings. Now its different,violence increasing,while carry permits are a lot harder to get,and even if you defended yourself,you would be branded racist.You would go to a jail full of relatives of your victim.
