A few years ago a politician here in the US said he was against gambling because it did nothing to advance human civilization. I think the same could be said about the Jews vs Muslim wars. Devoting time, money, energy to them is a waste. They cannot be solved, fixed, won, prevented, mitigated, attenuated, massaged, etc. Even time spent reading about them would be better spent playing solitare or sweeping streets.
