Over 23 months, I've stayed in three rooms at DC HomeStay, with this one the longest at nearly a year, though not continously, since I must leave every three months for weeks to get a new visa. Still, this room is more home than any in the last six years.

It's heart warming to know you feel home where you are. However, it sucks when you have to do visa run every three months like all foreign tourists. Why can't they recognize you as a citizen of Viet Nam?
Hi Tim, there's a legal way, which is drawn out. A woman told me she knows of someone who can get my passport stamped for a fee, so I may try that.--Linh
