Jack told me that, in spite of mainstream media slander, many protesters do in fact have jobs, so they're making a tremendous sacrifice just to be there. I met a 20-year-old man with a retail job who was staying at the protest for the entire night, and Texas was there until 2:15AM. She had to go home to Brooklyn so she could get to work in the morning.
