I walked up and down Broadway but could only find this Chinese joint, so I had chicken fried rice, beef egg foo young and an egg roll (not shown). The fried rice had bean sprouts, tiny bits of scallion and well hidden morsels of chicken. Slopped in gravy, the egg foo young had bean sprouts, tiny bits of scallion and elusive scraps of beef. The egg roll was mostly cabbage. You order and receive your food through bullet-proof plexiglass.
Half an hour earlier, I had wanted to try a Rally's chicken shack on 5th Avenue, but the lady was closing up because she had no electricity.
