Bãi Sậy Street in Chợ Lớn, Saigon's Chinatown. The owner of this impressive building was divested of it at gunpoint, I was told by a neighborhood woman. Before the Fall of Saigon, Chợ Lớn was its richest and liveliest neighborhood.

Every Vietnamese city is like this! Chợ Lợn, though, means "Large Market," and the Chinese are just great merchants.
