That's the Mekong. The Mekong Delta has a very distinct culture, with its own musical genres, nhạc tài tử, vọng cổ, etc., and theater, cải lương. Today, however, I was at a Mekong Delta wedding, and no one could sing vọng cổ, or "echoes of the past" style, so I was joking that I would go on stage and do it myself...
