Clearly modeled after the ones in Medina, Saudi Arabia, these huge parasols look cool enough, lah, but they obstruct the view of the Jamek Mosque, and add to the confusing layout. In fact, I couldn't even find my way to the mosque's entrance! But hey, somebody got a government contract, so all is well.
