Being in Vietnam and Asia has definitely helped my writing, so that's good. Financially, I'm no better or worse of, but my wife feels more secure here. Timewise, I have much less of it, having to work at the recycling plant, but Ea Kly itself has taught me much, so that's fine also.
I have no desire or plan to return to the US. Free from its toxic intellectual climate, I can think more clearly here. Plus, all doors have been closed to me in the US.

Foodwise, you can eat OK on $150 a month, and rent can be had for about $300, so roughly $500.
