Just now I was looking at your pic of the Lotte Mall from the other day thinking, no, really? Yes it is named after Lotte from the Sorrows of Young Werther!
In Seoul there is a statue of Goethe and another of Lotte right next to the 6th largest skyscraper in the world named after a Goethe character, and the Seoul Lotte Mall has a central hall of German kitsch, perhaps a recreation of Weimar.
