After 2 1/2 days in the sticks, I'm in a Skopje apartment that costs $291, plus electricity. It's larger and newer than the one I had in Belgrade, and it's right in the center. North Macedonia is even less expensive than Serbia.

Photo above was taken on 9/23 at 5:24AM, half an hour after my arrival in Skopje. I didn't see much then.

Used laptop and blue duffle bag were bought in Belgrade. Red suitcase I got in Hanoi for about $16. It's still holding up after three countries!
