Gypsy shoeshiner near Mal Altan, the cafe/restaurant where I like to write. He charges just $1 for a shoeshine, but I don't think he makes $4 a day, business is that slow. When people walk by, he'd sometimes bang on the footrest to attract attention, or he'd shout at them while pointing at their shoes, even if they're wearing sneakers...
