Most Egyptian dogs never go inside. Earlier, I saw one sleeping with his tongue sticking out that had four or five flies on it.
Later, I would see a horse stumbling along the promenade, seemingly delirious. With his ribs showing, and withers and hip bones sticking out, he appeared even more malnourished than all the skinny horses and donkeys I often see here. Many of these creatures are kept in cities, with no access to grass.

So there is no dog idolatry in Egypt like such is the case in US? Fyi, rumors of virus vaccines for pets.
