Bar Restaurant London. Before WWII, there was a London Bar and a Berlin Bar on this street, the owner told me, so when he opened his, he decided to call it London, "It's a strong name." The Communists had confiscated this building from his family, but in 1994, he was able to get it back from the new government.

He's been to London just once, for three days, to attend a wedding. He's also been to Greece, Turkey, Slovenia and Croatia, but it's hard to go anywhere running this restaurant, he said.

Despite its name, the menu doesn't feature anything English, and there's no English beer either. The two beers available are the German Paulaner and the Albanian Korça. There's chili con carne with rice on the menu ($7), so maybe I'll go back for that.
