The Et'hem Bey Mosque was finished in 1821, and the clock tower a year later. Tirana has very few historical buildings. There is a Roman floor mosaic from the 3rd century, though, but it is smallish and not anything like what you'd find in, say, Pompei.
Shuttered and neglected during the Communist decades, the Et'hem Mosque is being restored by the Turkish government.
