Most clothing stores in Albania sell used clothes, and in Gramsh, there are no stores selling new clothing.

Seconds after I took this photo, two girls walked up to me. One was about eight, the other maybe five. The 8-year-old very confidently said in clear English, "Where are you from?"

"Vietnam."

"Vietnam," she echoed me, looking very serious.

"Vietnam. It's close to China."

Satisfied, she said, "It's nice to meet you," and they both walked away.
