I shoot RAW, which means all sorts of adjustments have to be made, but these dresses were that colorful. That's why I photographed them. Not everyone here is that cheerfully dressed, however.
Bright colors go well with black skin. In Germany, they prefer dark, somber clothing.
I use a Canon 80D, with an 18-200mm lens. New camera and used lens were bought in Cape Town, to replace a used 50D that had seriously malfunctioned.
For about two years, I also had a Fujifilm X100F, so often walked around with two cameras. The Fujifilm just died. It can be fixed, but only at a Fujifilm shop. I doubt they have one in Windhoek. Even Cape Town doesn't have one. There's one in Johannesburg.
A great camera for street photography, the Fujifilm was given to me by Mieko Kawakammi in Tokyo. At the time, I had no idea how great it was.

Linh! Do you increase the saturation on the photos, or are people in Windhoek always so colourful?
What camera do you use? Pictures look nice.
Hi Zeno,
