In Namibia, a passenger van is called a kombi. This was at the downtown kombi and bus depot. I went there yesterday to take a kombi to Rehoboth, for $2.80 [N$50]. On the way back, I hitched a ride with a watermelon and canteloupe delivery guy for $4.41 [N$70], but he only dropped me off on the southern edge of town, so I had to take a taxi for $3.08 [N$55] to get home. It was a long day, but very productive. I had such a headache at the end, I couldn't even eat dinner.
