Usually, I slip a piece of paper under a millipede to take him outside, but this morning, I placed one in my palm. Proving they’re not that different from humans, he shat out of fright, then relaxed and uncurled himself, thinking his danger over. Laughably gullible and with an absurdly short memory, millipedes are like our twins! At least they’re not lining up to be "vaccinated." Contemporary man is in a class by himself.
