This would have looked more daft a few years ago. These days I'd not be surprised to see a similarly hokey name and sign here in any Australian city. The language has become sick and is of less and less use as a means of communication even between native speakers. Mostly between us I guess. Those who learn English abroad are still getting an accurate palette of definitions and spellings.
