Michael Rubbo's Sad Song of Yellow Skin

Filmed in Saigon in 1970, it gives English speaking viewers their most authentic portrait of this city at war, and contrasts sharply with all Hollywood depictions:

Also a video clip I have somewhere, showing war footage with a song
that starts with "There's a sorrow about to fall'.
Don't know the title or who sings it, from that time.

Yo Dan,

As Gentleman Farmer pointed out, there was more "structural beauty" and life's pace was more languid, but I'm sure this was true across the globe. People hadn't been shaped into pseudo machines always in a hurry.
