Wow! Sherman Oaks - was - a posh part of greater LA in the San Fernando Valley. Filled with smug, rich people, with one of the largest jewish populations in the world. Rough times for the no-longer-so-comfortable. Seeing the homeless action on fancy Ventura Blvd is a real shocker for this former inhabitant of southern Kalifornia.
