Besides Wat Mongkol Samakhom, there's another Vietnamese temple in Bangkok's Chinatown, Wat Lokanukhro (Chùa Từ Tế). When Ho Chi Minh showed up in 1928, he went straight to this temple to get help. Its head monk, Bình Lương, spent 60 years in Thailand. Just two years before his death, he returned to Vietnam in 1964 and is buried in Hanoi.
