Isn't it the flag of the Vietnamese Buddhism?

Hi tt,

Yes, you do see that flag at Vietnamese temples, and this temple is in Vietnam. Everything else about this ceremony is Khmer, though.

The southern third of Vietnam belonged to the Funan, Chenla then Khmer Empire, all Cambodian entities, so I don't doubt most Cambodians in Vietnam wish they're still a part of Cambodia.

Hi tt,

I just saw that Buddhist flag on a tuk-tuk here in Siem Reap, so it must be used at Cambodian temples also.
