I spent two nights in Don Sang [Elephant Island], sleeping in this room. After this photo, one more kid showed up to watch some Thai movie with a supernatural sword, a birdman and a bit of romantic handholding. This family has 12 children, with five working in Thailand, and a sixth a waitress and cook in Don Det. On Google Maps, there is a Don Sang listed, but that's a bigger island in another part of Laos.
