After this antipasto, I had spaghettin carbonara for 100,000 kips [$5.74]. Italian cooking at Dok Mai Lao is not just good enough for South Philly Italians, but Italiani in Italia! Coredo has trained his staff very well.

Though Dok Mai Lao serves foreigners mostly, I've seen Laos in there. As I was about to enjoy my meatballs, a very fat Lao woman in shorts stood right in front of me. Though traumatized by her huge ass, I took a deep breath, lowered my head and pretended I had seen nothing.

For lunch, I had eaten just two Lao samosas for 5,000 kips [29 cents!], so this brunch/dinner was a needed compensation.
