Sold by Laos as well as Vietnamese, bánh mì is widely available in Pakse. Usually just 57 or 85 cents, they're good enough, but not what you'd get in Vietnam.

Just now, I saw Marko, the German owner of Torture Sandwich Bar in Dondet. He's in Pakse to buy cheeses, and sell meats to La Boulange. I'm not sure what kinds, but I'll find out in twenty minutes. Soon as I finish my Beerlao, I'm heading down there. I can't wait for excellent bread, cheese and meat for lunch!
