A section of Chuck Orloski's Russian Orthodox prayer book is devoted to the deceased, so there's my father's name, Chau Dinh, as the latest entry. Sixty-three-year-old Chuck kept talking about not having much time left himself, of being "in the 9th inning of life."
Chuck, "The book was a gift from the father of my dear childhood friend Mark Lezinsky. Mark died after walking (at work) a hazardous materials contaminated site, and when toxic chemicals seeped into his boots, entered into blood stream, having legs amputated to stop poison spread, and he died.... early 1990s."
